Benhabib, Seyla
was born in Istanbul, Turkey. Since 1993 she has served as Professor of Government and Senior Research Fellow at Center for European Studies, Harvard University. From 1994-1997 she was co-editor-in-chief of Constellations: An International Journal of Critical and Democratic Theory. Among her publications: The Claims of culture: Equality and diversity in the Global Era (Princeton, 2002).
